A simple, joyful way to strengthen our small-town spirit, one message at a time.
Our Mission
Before there was the targeted info feed, there was the town crier. Before there was the endless news ticker, we gathered together around the town square to talk. Before we were fragmented by schedules and technology, we knew each other's names, lent cups of sugar, and broke bread together.
Before we were told we shouldn't, we trusted our neighbors.
We believe in the inherent goodness of our community and the power of joy—and information—to delight and connect us.
From community meetings to local parades, birthday announcements to updates on the full moon, from silly one liners to fact-checked and supported updates on what's going on (in the county, in Richmond, and in Washington) that might really affect us—and what we might do about it, we want to be a lovely, gentle heads up... just a little Newz on your way to work/school/polo/Mint Springs.
